I decided to take the photo out of context - I've been in a foul mood lately, and fixating even more on the death and soul-crushing cruelty that's still going on over there would be bad for my head. Instead, I imagined a post-nuclear winter tribe of nomadic mutants stumbling upon the wreckage of this once-thriving highway. They proceed to disassemble the rusting radioactive hulks for parts to keep their makeshift convoy of diesel burning vehicles running. This piece was put together pretty hastily. I haven't had much free time lately, but I wanted to do something with a quirky metallic minimal techno feel. I used a pretty minimal setup, and what you hear is mostly just live takes all the way through. I think it came out pretty well, and it's completely different that anything I've done before.
