Exploring the Square Wave

The Mission for June is brought to you by J3RK:

In my mind, this really isn't a totally restrictive theme, (as the name seems to suggest.) Do anything you want, as long as the only waveform used is a square/pulse wave. Effects, filters, modulations, etc. are all fine. Use as many synths as you want, (because some squares sound almost completely different.) An example would be the hollow pseudo-square of the 303, and a pulse wave from a Moog or something.

let me feel your pulse

let me feel your pulse mainly micron (pad, drums, FX) and a little Legacy MS20 bassline. the drumloop that runs through the last 3rd or so of the song comes from the microTonic VSTI and is not pulse-based. sorry, but I had a hard time with the pulse drums on the micron already (also used noise there...) and when I loaded the mTonic it fit so well that I couldn't bring myself to NOT use it. I know, its a preset rhythm... I know, it is the first damn preset rhythm that appears when you open the proggie... so what? ;) once again, its just one part (forgive me AK) arrangement-wise its got its highs and lows but it has a few neat moments that I love. Squares

Another improvised soundscape by me, no sequencing - just four tracks played on top of each other. Three of them on a JX 10 and one JP 4. I would like to say that the MP3 conversion sucked quite a bit of life out of the sounds - sorry for that
