Helioseismology (wounded knee mix)

A montage of sounds from stellar pulsations... the actual vibratory waves of near and distant stars, translated into the audible spectrum.
These sounds were spatially-processed in Audiomulch, and mixed via Audiomulch automation with multilayered instrumental tracks written in Reason.
Preliminary mix put together while recuperating from a knee injury... lending a solemn and poignant air to the progression.
File is a draft, subject to change as mix is completed.

During a solar flare, intense electromagnetic radiation relentlessly buffets and glances off of earth's atmosphere. I tried to reflect this in the sounds I used in this piece. I would like to have had more time to work on mixing and arrangement, but time is in short supply these days.

Here's a typical Reason job. It's relatively simple as I couldn't add any more sounds - 3.0 is more demanding on the CPU (I need a new computer!).
This song conveys an image of a spaceship flying towards the Sun, its pilots inexplicably mesmerized by the beauty of the solar flares.
They all die.
Supernova

Hi. This is a song that I think best resembles a supernova explosion. I was inspired by that sun picture. It's a nice shot. I hope you guys like it.

One ship was too close when the flare erupted. What were they hearing as they crossed over?
