This project involves a three stage process to keep things fair and encourage participation.

Stage One involves the nomination of a potential theme by participants who wish to do so. Nominations are submitted to the elections page. These nominations are limited to the format we've chosen for a given month - for example, a phrase, an image, a video clip - you get the idea. Examples include submissions like "Memory Fragmentation" or "Highway of Death". Another approach would be to make your theme more specific like, "Use a single patch" or "electro blues". Stage Two is simply a poll where members vote for the nomination of their choice. Voting also takes place on the elections page. The nomination that receives the most votes becomes the "Mission" for the following month.

Stage Three involves participants creating an audio piece based on the theme. To make it easier for everyone to upload and download your submission please use MP3 formatted files with a maximum length of about 5 minutes. This is not written in stone so if you need a few seconds wiggle room, do what you need to, but please be considerate about the length of your submission. Uploaded file sizes are currently limited to 10MB.
